I received a shipment of components I ordered, which I want to use in a couple of my upcoming projects.

On such component was the Microchip Pic18f4550, micro controller. It is a 8 bit micro with usb capabilities. Very nice I am in the process of design and building a dev board for it so watch this space for more info!

    Hey, Tiago,

I must confess I have been so busy with other random projects that I am still, trying to get my development board up and running, it is almost designed, but I have a very basic circuit on breadboard.

I have completed some toy projects, very simple “Hello, World” type stuff, It really is a very nice, chip. I will be happy to post a quick tutorial, well it will be more of a run down on what I have been able to do, how I got it working and some pitfalls I have discovered. But in future I will be posting about more of my completed projects…
