I just ordered a new FoxBoard, what is a FoxBoard, its awesome! Let me explain.
FoxBoard is a small (66 x 72 mm) embedded computer, running Linux. It has 2 usb ports 1 10/100 Network point and has 32MB of Ram and 8mb of flash memory, all on one little 66mm by 72mm board. I want to use it for my next project, building a autonomous robot, more on that later. Back to the Fox!
The fox board is so versatile, having GPIO(genral purpose IO lines) on board you can use it for automation projects, with instant network and usb support, you can hook up a USB WiFi dongle and a Webcam and stream video feeds wirelessly. Host php and sqlLite interactive wepages which can be used to turn on or off devices using the GPIO pins, or show video feeds.
I am so excited cant wait to get the package! Fist I will try and get everything up and running, then add webcam, WiFi and then I will try to build a robot with it as the control and communications board.
