What is a Home theatre PC? Ill let the Wikipedia explain:
A home theatre PC (HTPC) or media PC is a convergence device that combines the functions of a personal computer and a digital video recorder. It is connected to a television or a television-sized computer display and is often used as a digital photo, music, video player, TV receiver and digital video recorder.
This is my latest project, I am busy building my very own HTPC/PVR.
The Wii Fit, was launched recently. It is the latest offering in the Wii range from Nintendo. The fit adds a new control device to the Wii platform in the form of a balance board, which looks like a large bathroom scale. You stand on it and control movement by moving your body. Really fun and quite a workout. Ever Wondered what would happen if you could combine this with a pc and control applications using it, well wonder no more. Fly around the earth using the Wii fit board and Google Earth!!

I received a shipment of components I ordered, which I want to use in a couple of my upcoming projects.
On such component was the Microchip Pic18f4550, micro controller. It is a 8 bit micro with usb capabilities. Very nice I am in the process of design and building a dev board for it so watch this space for more info!
Last night i order my eee pc. 701 white. I can’t wait to get my hands on it it is going to be great, I predict it is going to be the gadget of 2008. I expect there to be a couple of revisions and new innovative models before the end of the year. There are already talks about a bigger screen version as seen at CES, and a touch screen.
The touch screen mod is the one hardware mod I am seriously considering. You can buy diy touch panel kits of ebay at reasonable prices.
I will be posting updates about my eee pc adventure as soon as I have the thing 
I also got myself 2gigs of ram, and a 8 gig SDHC card.

This has to be the gadget of the year. Fully featured small notebook. The ultimate mobile device, well for its price anyway!
I am going to Hong Kong in September, I will be buying one, but I don’t think I will be able to last that long.
So I am going to see if I can order one on the web! First thing I will do is get more Ram, by the look of things it uses 200Pin so-dimm modules, so I will get at least 1gig of memory.
Yes I am planing a trip to Hong Kong! A place where I will be able to spend all my hard earned cash on, well name it! All the freaky and weird gadgets of the world in one huge center!
Got myself a very nice piece of kit recently. It’s a Magnetox V120 Recorder. It’s a small ( Mac-mini-look-alike) device capable of recording video from a direct video source or a coax output. It is a very nice alternative to the DSTV PVR recorder.
Well after a long wait, I finally replaced my old mobile phone(Nokia 6600), with a Nokia N70. So far this is a very nice piece of hardware. With all the bells and whistles of a S60 smart phone. A 2 mega pixel camera, radio, 3G, great mp3 support, expandable memory!
I will write a full review of the phone soon and publish it on the techno-playground site.
