Duke Nukem Forever, is probably the most overly hyped and long awaited game in history. 3D Realms, the developer has closed its doors, so it seams like the rumours and teasers are now over, or are they? Take 2 is looking to buy the rights and hopefully finish it!
We have all played games and then as you are passing along a corridor or entering a lift *BAM* you are stuck, or you are floating. Games are just as bug prone as any other software, but due to their visual nature the bugs are often very amusing and equally frustrating.
Web 2.0 as you may or may not, know is the latest buzz word on the Interweb, well actually it is getting quite old now, but nevertheless it still is all the rage, think facebook, think twitter think well this very blog! So web2.0 is, from the wikipedia: “enhance creativity, information sharing, and, most notably, collaboration among users”. I have started to read some stuff by Tim O’Reilly and it is just, excellent because Tim has a unique and very expert view on everything tech and all the latest trends… Anyway back to the point, I recently read an article about web2.0 written by Tim in 2005 and it was very good and thought provoking, it made me think, what if I took the game industry and made the same web1.0 VS web2.0 comparison?
