I have been using google as my search engine of choice for so long, I can’t even remember the url’s of any other search engines… But like all things in live change is good, I change my desktop background at least two times a month, I change my cell phone’s ring tone about once a month, I even change girl friends every now and again :p So why have I constantly been using google for the last 8 odd years? The sort answer, there was not anything worth considering. I used the word ‘was’ for a reason, enter cuil.

I have been doing some research lately for a future project and I came across a plethora of information, and just as many products and ebooks on the subject, but some of the sites where real dodgy looking, and I started to wonder how I could tell if it was a scam or not…

I discovered twitter awhile back and I must say it is growing on me. I know I am behind, twitter has been around for awhile! Twitter is as, Nicholas Carr, Author and Technologist put it; “…the telegraph system of Web 2.0.” and it truly is! Think of facebook’s, is “…” on your profile, you know that place where you put in what you are doing and other people see stuff like “John is planning world domination” or “Sara is doing homework”. Twitter can be described as, facebook minus everything except those little “is messages” and people love it!

I was checking the logs of all my sites recently and found some really interesting things. Apart from the normal stuff like where visitors was coming from and the most requested pages, I found some high traffic to a website that I am still developing!
