The Game of Life by John Conway, has fasinated me for sometime, I recently discovered a website with short titbits about it all and some java applets to illustrate how it all works.

I played around with it and soon I was hooked I “designed” my own little “glider” and I found that the emergent behaviour was quite nice. I call it Order out of Chaos, because it starts out as what seams to be a random placement of cubes and turns into a “walker” and a static cube, quite nice for my first “LifeHack” attempt.

Just a tidbit, something ironic I discovered last night. The former South African Rock Band Seether aka Saron Gas, has a new hit song Fake it, which is a very cool song btw. Seether have done sound tracks for movies and TV before, but this is so ironic…
